Planned Mining Operations definition

Planned Mining Operations means any and all present or future Mining Operations which are planned to be conducted in the vicinity of a portion of the Gathering System by a Mining Operator which would reasonably be expected to require Gatherer to (i) interrupt or curtail Services during the Mining Period and/or (ii) perform Transitional Work and incur expense in order to ensure the continued safe operation of such portion of the Gathering System during the Mining Period, as indicated by Gatherer in a written Work Notice.
Planned Mining Operations. – means any and all present or future Mining Operations which are planned to be conducted in the vicinity of a portion of the Gathering System by a Mining Operator which would reasonably be expected to require Gatherer to (i) interrupt or curtail Services during the Mining Period and/or (ii) perform Transitional Work and incur expense in order to ensure the continued safe operation of such portion of the Gathering System during the Mining Period, as indicated by Gatherer in a written Work Notice.

Examples of Planned Mining Operations in a sentence

  • Subject to the other terms of this Agreement, the Parties acknowledge and agree that, to the extent that any curtailment is attributable to Planned Mining Operations, such curtailment shall not constitute a breach of any Gatherer obligations set forth in this Agreement.

Related to Planned Mining Operations

  • Mining Operations means obtaining or extracting any mineral by any mode or method or any purpose directly or indirectly connected therewith or incidental thereto, including—

  • Mining operation means any operations undertaken for the purpose of winning any mineral as defined in section 3 (d) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

  • Drilling operations means the drilling of an oil and gas well and the production and completion operations ensuing from the drilling which require entry upon the surface estate and which were commenced after June 30, 1979, and oil and gas geophysical and seismograph exploration activities commenced after June 30, 1983.

  • Farming operation means raising, cultivating, propagating, fattening, grazing, or any other farming, livestock, or aquacultural operation.

  • Petroleum Operations means, as the context may require, Exploration Operations, Development Operations or Production Operations or any combination of two or more of such operations, including construction, operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities, plugging and abandonment of ▇▇▇▇▇, safety, environmental protection, transportation, storage, sale or disposition of Petroleum to the Delivery Point, Site Restoration and any or all other incidental operations or activities as may be necessary.
