Put Option definition

Put Option means an exchange traded option with respect to Securities other than Stock Index Options, Futures Contracts, and Futures Contract Options entitling the holder, upon timely exercise and tender of the specified underlying Securities, to sell such Securities to the writer thereof for the exercise price.
Put Option has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.
Put Option shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.6(a).

Examples of Put Option in a sentence

  • The Collateral Agent shall not be deemed to have knowledge or notice of the occurrence of any Put Option Event or other breach of this Agreement or the other Transaction Documents unless the Collateral Agent shall have received written notice from a Purchaser or a Seller Party referring to this Agreement, describing such Put Option Event, breach or default, as applicable and stating that such notice is a “notice of Put Option Event” or “notice of breach or default”.

  • Investor may exercise the Put Option, in whole or in part, by delivering to Issuer a notice in writing in the form attached hereto in Schedule A (the “Put Notice”) at any time on or after the one-year anniversary of the Closing Date and prior to the Put Expiration Date (as defined below).

  • In the event a Buy-Out Payment or an Automatic Put Payment is determined not to be due and payable by order of any court of competent jurisdiction, including, without limitation, by operation of any Bankruptcy Law, despite a Put Option Event or an Automatic Put Option Trigger having occurred, such Buy-Out Payment and such Automatic Put Payment shall nonetheless constitute obligations under this Agreement for all purposes hereunder.

  • The failure to pay the Default Fee when the same becomes due and payable shall constitute an immediate Put Option Event.

  • Investor may exercise the Put Option, in whole or in part, by delivering to Issuer a notice in writing in the form attached hereto in Schedule A (the “Put Notice”) at any time on or after the one- year anniversary of the Closing Date and prior to the Put Expiration Date (as defined below).


More Definitions of Put Option

Put Option means the right, but not the obligation, of the option holder to sell a security to the seller of the option at a specified price at any time during a specified time period or at expiry.
