Qualified sign language interpreter definition

Qualified sign language interpreter means one who has been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Title 5, Chapter 71 of the General Laws.

Qualified sign language interpreter means an Interpreter, Certified or Non-Certified, who is able to Interpret effectively, accurately, and impartially both receptively and expressively, using any necessary specialized vocabulary. Family members of the Customer are not qualified interpreters.

Qualified sign language interpreter means a qualified interpreter who uses sign language to convey information.

Qualified sign language interpreter means a person who, via a video remote interpreting (“VRI”) service or an on-site appearance, can interpret effectively, accurately, and impartially, both receptively and expressively, using American Sign Language. See 28 C.F.R. § 35.104. For purposes of this Agreement, a Qualified Sign Language Interpreter is one who holds a current, valid certification and/or who has been screened and approved by one or more of the following organizations:

Qualified sign language interpreter means a sign language interpreter who has the requisite experience and skill to provide effective communication to individuals with Hearing Disabilities.

Qualified sign language interpreter means an interpreter who, via video remote interpreting (VRI) services or an on-site appearance, is able to interpret effectively, accurately, and impartially, both receptively and expressively, using any necessary specialized vocabulary. Qualified sign language interpreters include, for example, sign language interpreters, oral transliterators, and cued-language transliterators. The term “video remote interpreting” (“VRI”) shall mean and refer to an interpreting service that uses video conference technology over dedicated lines or wireless technology offering high-speed, wide-bandwidth video connection that delivers high-quality video images as provided in 28 C.F.R. § 36.303(f). The term “videophone” shall mean and refer to a telephone with a video screen capable of full duplex (bi-directional), high-quality video and audio transmissions for visual, real-time communication. The term “transferring facility” shall mean and refer to a health care entity that contacts the Manassas Health and Rehab Center seeking: bed availability, services (including rehabilitation services), accommodations or placement for their patient.

Qualified sign language interpreter means an interpreter who is able to interpret effectively, accurately, and impartially, both receptively and expressively, using any necessary specialized vocabulary.
