STCW Code definition

STCW Code means the Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Code as adopted by resolution 2 of the 1995 Conference of Parties to the STCW Convention, in its up-to-date version;
STCW Code means the Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Code as adopted by the 1995 Conference resolution 2, in its up-to-date version;;
STCW Code means the Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Code as adopted by the 1995 Conference resolution 2, as it may be amended by the Organization;

  • Sea going Ships shall carry a competent person in charge of medical care on board, in line with Regulation VI/4 (Mandatory minimum requirements relating to medical first aid and medical care) of the 1978 STCW Convention and the applicable Sections of the STCW Code, Parts A and B.

  • The Maritime Training Center evaluates or examines seafarers to assess that the participant has acquired the skills, knowledge, understanding and sufficiency required by each course, as prescribed in the relevant Section and Table of the STCW Code.

STCW Code means the Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Code adopted by the 1995 Conference of Parties to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978 and any amendment thereto which has come into force and has been accepted by the Government;
