System Tests definition

System Tests means the tests described in this Schedule which constitute the Acceptance Criteria and successful completion of which constitutes Acceptance for the portion of the System in question.
System Tests means those tests which involve simulating conditions and recording them or the controlled application of irregular, unusual or extreme conditions on the Power System or any part of it and recording them, but not including routine testing, commissioning or re- commissioning tests;
System Tests as defined in Article 4.4.

Examples of System Tests in a sentence

  • Owner may require Contractor to reschedule Integrated System Tests to ensure availability of Owner’s representative(s).

  • Integrated System Tests are conducted under various modes, such as fire alarm and emergency situations, life safety conditions, power failure, etc.

  • Functional Performance or Integrated System Tests performed after Substantial Completion, with Owner’s approval, due to seasonal requirements, site conditions, or both, that prohibit the test from being performed prior to Substantial Completion.

  • Contractor shall provide written notice to Owner at least fourteen (14) days prior to Integrated System Tests of equipment components and systems.

  • Integrated System Tests are executed after Functional Performance Tests are complete and prior to Substantial Completion.

  • Integrated System Tests provide verification that the integrated systems will properly function according to the Contract Documents.

  • CONTRACTOR shall give COUNTY written notice of each System Test, and designated representatives of COUNTY may observe the System Tests and verify the results as COUNTY deems necessary or appropriate.

  • Emergency Generator System Tests shall provide functional performance verification of the Emergency Generator System and provided Ancillary equipment.

Related to System Tests

  • Commissioning Tests means all of the procedures and tests which, in accordance with the Reasonable and Prudent Standard, and in compliance with industry guidelines, practices and standards, are:

  • Maintenance Test means the maintenance test set out in Clause 12.1 (Maintenance Test).

  • Testing means that element of inspection that determines the properties or elements, including functional operation of materials, equipment, or their components, by the application of established scientific principles and procedures.

  • Performance Tests means all tests meant to ensure that the Plant(s)/Unit(s) is/are in all respects in accordance with the requirements of the Contract and that the Plant functions properly and smoothly, in all respects as per the approved design parameters, within the permissible tolerances, and satisfies all the stipulated operating parameters, and will include the Guarantee Tests.

  • Commissioning test means tests applied to a distributed generation facility by the applicant after construction is completed to verify that the facility does not create adverse system impacts and performs to the submitted specifications. At a minimum, the scope of the commissioning tests performed shall include the commissioning test specified in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) Standard 1547 Section 5.4 "Commissioning tests".
