Utilisation Management Scheme definition

Utilisation Management Scheme means a scheme established to ensure the correct use of resources in relation to the treatment of an individual or group of service users as may be agreed by the Commissioner and the Provider in accordance with Schedule 3 (Managing Activity and Referrals, Care and Resource Utilisation Techniques and Retention of Payment Scheme);

Examples of Utilisation Management Scheme in a sentence

  • The Provider shall comply and co-operate with any agreed Utilisation Management Scheme, in particular (but without limitation) in sharing data, and allowing access for review teams and access to Service User Records.

  • If the Commissioner requires any amendment to be made to a Utilisation Management Scheme, it shall consult with the Provider on the proposed amendment, and when the amendment has been agreed by the Commissioner and the Provider, the Commissioner will give the Provider one month’s notice in writing of the date on which the amendment to the Utilisation Management Scheme is to be implemented by the Provider.

  • Subject to clauses 29.15, 29.16, 32.14, 32.17, 33.16, paragraph 9.2 of Schedule 3 Part 1 and the provisions of Schedule 3 Parts 4A and 4B, the Commissioner shall pay the Provider for all Services that the Provider delivers to it in accordance with the relevant Service Specifications, and any Prior Approval Scheme and Utilisation Management Scheme.
