Working Out of Classification Unit members shall not be required to perform duties which are not in their job description except as provided below.
An employee with the required skill level shall be selected to fill the position temporarily on a working-out-of-class basis (see Working Out of Classification, Article 5, Section 5.9).
Working Out of Classification: The term “working out of classification” is defined as a Management-authorized, full-time assignment to a budgeted position on a temporary basis, wherein an individual holding a classification within a lower compensation range performs all significant duties.
