Working Out of Classification shall be defined as follows:

Examples of Working Out of Classification in a sentence

  • Working Out of Classification Unit members shall not be required to perform duties which are not in their job description except as provided below.

  • An employee with the required skill level shall be selected to fill the position temporarily on a working-out-of-class basis (see Working Out of Classification, Article 5, Section 5.9).

  • Working Out of Classification: The term “working out of classification” is defined as a Management-authorized, full-time assignment to a budgeted position on a temporary basis, wherein an individual holding a classification within a lower compensation range performs all significant duties.

  • Section 24.1 Working Out of Classification An employee, covered by this Agreement, who is temporarily assigned and required to accept the responsibilities, and carries out the duties of a position or rank above that which the employee normally holds, shall be paid at the rate for that position, for all hours assigned to the higher ranking position, during that work day.

  • The District and ACE have agreed to a process for hiring a Temporary Employee (Article 4) or offering a Working Out of Classification (Article 8.

  • Payment for Working Out of Classification is outlined in Appendix A.3.2.

  • Working Out of Classification: The term “working out of classification” is defined as a Management-authorized, full-time assignment to a budgeted position on a temporary basis, wherein all significant duties are performed by an individual holding a classification within a lower compensation range.

  • This does not waive an employee’s rights under Section 5.6 (Working Out of Classification).

  • The City and Union agree on already established pay practices and agreements for Working Out of Classification.

  • Pay for work 28 so assigned shall be consistent with CLA Article 33 Working Out of Classification.

Related to Working Out of Classification

  • Job Classification means an arrangement of tasks in an establishment or industry into a limited series of jobs or occupations, rated in terms of skill, responsibility, experience, training, and similar considerations, usually for wage setting purposes. This term, or job class, refers to a single cluster of jobs of approximately equal “worth.”

  • Classification system means system relating either to an office, post or position or to an employee that provides a basis for the remuneration of employees by identifying the level which correctly reflects the functions and responsibilities of the office, post or position or of the employee;

  • Classification means the identification of a position by reference to a class title and pay range number.

  • film classification body means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

  • Tier 1 Help Desk means Customer's point of contact(s) to provide all Tier 1 Support within Customer's organization(s).
