Common use of Abandonment of Grievance Clause in Contracts

Abandonment of Grievance. Grievances shall be considered abandoned if the grieving Party fails to give written notice within the specified time limits of its intention to proceed to the next step of the Grievance Procedure. The succeeding step shall commence the day following receipt of such notice.
