Access to Grievance Procedure. Though employees will have no independent unilateral privilege or right to invoke the grievance procedure, an employee’s complaint may be presented to his/her supervisor. If the issue is not resolved, it may be referred to STEP 1. (1.) The supervisor/designee will meet with the employee and Union to discuss the grievance within fifteen (15) calendar days of the receipt of the STEP 1 grievance. (2.) The supervisor/designee will issue a written decision to the employee and the Union within fifteen (15) calendar days following the discussion. (3.)
