Additional Lien Searches Sample Clauses

The "Additional Lien Searches" clause requires that further investigations be conducted to identify any liens or encumbrances on a property beyond the standard title search. In practice, this may involve searching public records, court filings, or other databases to uncover claims by creditors, tax authorities, or other parties that could affect ownership or transfer of the property. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all potential financial or legal claims against the property are discovered and addressed before a transaction is finalized, thereby protecting the parties from unforeseen liabilities.
