Aerial Photogrammetry Sample Clauses

Aerial Photogrammetry. The Engineer shall provide aerial photogrammetry associated with the site of the Project, along IH 35 from 0.5 mile South of IH 35 / US 59 to MM 16 with approximately 6 cross flights; a total of approximately 15 miles. The aerial survey shall be from ROW line to ROW line plus 300 feet. All standards and specifications shall be in accordance with established guidelines as recommended or approved by the State. DGN, DTM, TIN, and orthophotographic files covering the project site location shall meet all State standards and specifications. The current planimetric (dgn) level structure and legend as published by the State shall be maintained. The current DTM level structure and legend as published by the State shall be maintained. The Engineer shall perform the following: 1. LiDAR Acquisition (with Leica ALS 70 LiDAR Unit & RCD 30 Digital 4 Band Camera) a. Data Acquisition (1) Data collection shall only be conducted by the Engineer when there is no inclement weather conditions (high winds, rain, fog, low cloud cover) that would significantly diminish the quality of the data. (2) The LiDAR scan shall be captured by the Engineer with a Trimble Harrier system (eye safe) with a scan and pulse rate to generate an aggregate of 18 points per square mile on the subject area, coupled with the full waveform LiDAR returns (unlimited returns per pulse) with 16 bit intensity to allow for point density range capturing key LiDAR returns as the light penetrates through the forest canopy. Up to four coordinate points shall be collected by the Engineer for each laser pulse, using multiple return signals from a single laser pulse. (3) Color imagery (3-inch pixel) of the subject area shall be captured simultaneously, by the Engineer, with the LiDAR scan. Imagery and LiDAR shall be acquired simultaneously, by the Engineer, to allow for more accurate data using the same Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), GPS and control position on both sensors to ensure the best fit possible. The use of a co-registered and integrated LiDAR and image system that captures equidistant swaths of data from the same positional system and solution simultaneously shall be used by the Engineer to improve work flow efficiency and more accurate data.
Aerial Photogrammetry. For larger geographic areas, aerial photogrammetry may be requested, under the recommendation of CONSULTANT. COUNTY will provide an AutoCAD drawing base with the correct layer names etc. for use. For this project, project surveys will be accomplished using only field survey techniques.
