Surveying and Mapping Clause Samples

The 'Surveying and Mapping' clause defines the responsibilities and procedures for conducting land surveys and creating maps relevant to a project or transaction. Typically, this clause outlines who is responsible for hiring qualified surveyors, the standards to be followed, and the types of surveys required, such as boundary or topographic surveys. By establishing clear requirements for accurate surveying and mapping, the clause helps prevent disputes over property boundaries, ensures compliance with legal or regulatory standards, and supports informed decision-making during development or construction.
