Aid Allowance. Where an employer appoints an employee to act as a first aid person pursuant to the Victorian WorkCover Authority’s “Code of Practice (No. 18) First Aid in the Workplace”, and such employee has undertaken a first aid course and is the holder of a current recognised first aid qualification such as a certificate from the St John’s Ambulance, the Australian Red Cross or similar body, the employer shall pay the employee a weekly allowance as shown at schedule 4.
