ALLOWANCE FOR FAILURE TO PROVIDE WORK. 11.01 An employee who reports for work at his regularly scheduled time and who has not been notified by the Company not to report, shall receive not less than one half his regular shifts work at his regular straight time hourly rate, or pay in lieu thereof at the discretion of the Company. 11.02 A telephone call to the number on record in the employee's name in the plant personnel files will be considered as proof of notification. An employee who leaves no telephone number by which he can be contacted forfeits the right to the one half shift or pay in lieu there of as mentioned in 11.01 above.
