Alternative Transfer Mechanism. The Standard Contractual Clauses will not apply to a Data Transfer if AWS has adopted Binding Corporate Rules for Processors or an alternative recognized compliance standard for lawful Data Transfers.

Additionally, in the event Riverbed adopts an alternative transfer mechanism (including any successor version of the Privacy Shield), such alternative transfer mechanism will apply instead of the SCCs described in Section 6.1 of this DPA (but only to the extent such alternative transfer mechanism complies with applicable European Data Protection Laws and extends to the territories to which Personal Data is transferred).
