AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF LEASE Sample Clauses

An Amendment to Memorandum of Lease clause establishes the process and authority for making changes to the original memorandum of lease agreement. This clause typically outlines the requirements for both parties to agree in writing to any modifications, and may specify the formalities needed for such amendments to be legally effective, such as notarization or recording with local authorities. Its core practical function is to ensure that any alterations to the lease terms are properly documented and enforceable, thereby preventing disputes and maintaining clarity regarding the parties' rights and obligations.
