Assignment of Claims Sample Clauses

The Assignment of Claims clause governs the transfer of rights or interests in claims from one party to another. Typically, it outlines whether and under what conditions a party may assign its rights to receive payments or pursue claims under the contract, sometimes requiring prior written consent from the other party. This clause ensures that all parties are aware of and agree to any changes in who holds contractual rights, thereby preventing unauthorized transfers and maintaining control over contractual relationships.
