Assignment of Emergency Overtime. If the County needs an employee to work unscheduled overtime of an emergency nature, the County will nevertheless attempt to follow the procedure outline in Section D above where, at the sole discretion of the County, sufficient time exists to allow compliance with the procedure. However, said procedure shall not preclude the County from "holding over" employees to perform needed emergency overtime; employees held over shall retain their position on the prescheduled overtime seniority list.
