Common use of Associate Professor Clause in Contracts

Associate Professor. The College will strive to provide 1/3 of the Associate Faculty with multiple quarter contracts (up to 2 quarters) at the discretion of the College. The College reserves the right to exceed the basis of calculation described herein where in its discretion such exception serves the best interest of the College. Associate Professors’ duties and responsibilities will be designated by the employer on a quarterly contract that will designate the instructional assignment with specific dates and salary set by the Associate Professor Salary Schedule posted in Appendix A. Associate Professors may be contracted for up to a year if the appropriate Vice President deems it applicable. There is no expectation of continued employment.
