- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 6.01 The Employer will recognize the following: (a) Two (2) Nurse Representatives, one of which could be a part-time nurse. (b) A Grievance Committee of up to two (2) nurses, one of whom shall be an alternate. This committee shall be responsible for the handling of all grievances. (c) A Negotiating Committee of two (2) nurses and a Labour Relations Officer of the Association. (d) The occupational health and safety committee shall have one (1) nurse elected from the bargaining unit. (e) An Association-Management Committee composed of two (2) representatives of the Employer and two (2) representatives of the Association. Meetings of this Committee shall be held at least once every three (3) months. The purpose of this Committee shall be to discuss matters relating to workload, scheduling matters, job content and other matters of mutual concern. Minutes of this meeting shall be maintained and signed by both parties. The duties of the secretary shall alternate between the parties. The Employer shall only be responsible for the payment of the wages of one of the Association representatives on the Committee. (a) The Association will supply the Employer with the names of its representatives along with the duration of their terms of office, if any, and changes thereto. (b) The employer shall provide the union with the names and titles of the employer representatives appointed or selected to any joint committees. (a) If a Representative must leave her regular duties for a period of time in order to attend to Association business, she will first obtain the permission of her Supervisor. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld. Upon completion of her business, the Representative will report to her Supervisor and then return to her regular duties. (b) Representatives of the Association shall be paid at their regular rate of pay for all time used attending meetings or fulfilling other duties related to their responsibilities under this Collective Agreement. (c) Nurses on the Negotiation Committee shall not suffer any loss of pay for regularly scheduled hours when meeting the Employer in negotiations up to but not including arbitration. A member of the negotiation committee who is scheduled to work the night shift immediately preceding a day of negotiations or the night shift on the day of negotiations, shall receive paid time off for such shift. - ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. D-1 The parties agree that nurse representatives and committee members will represent both full-time and part-time nurses. It is understood that the total number of nurses as nurse representatives or committee members shall not exceed the following: (a) Nurse Representatives

- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. (a) Union Representatives
- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 4.01 The Corporation shall recognize: (a) An ONA - Management Committee composed of two (2) Association members and two (2) members of Management, the duties of which shall be to co-operate in the efficient operation of the Home and to provide service to its members. Regular meetings of the Committee will be held monthly, unless otherwise agreed by both parties, for the discussion of matters of mutual concern. i) ONA - Management Committee meetings shall be scheduled whenever possible during the Nurses’ regular working hours. Any such time outside the Nurses’ working hours will be paid in accordance with applicable overtime provisions of the contract. ii) The premium payment will apply for all committees required by the Collective Agreement or established by the Corporation, except where specifically provided for in this Agreement.
- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 6.01 The Corporation agrees to recognize the following Representatives of the Association: (a) a Negotiating Committee of not more than three (3) Nurses employed by the Corporation; (b) a Grievance Committee of not more than three (3) Nurses employed by the Corporation; (c) an Association/Management Committee composed of three (3) members of the Association to meet with appointed Representatives of the Corporation. The purpose of this Committee is to discuss matters relating to nursing and the provision of the best possible nursing care. Meetings of this Committee will be at the request of either party and a proposed agenda would be supplied. The duties of the chair and the secretary shall alternate between the parties. Minutes shall be maintained of matters discussed and posted on the Union Bulletin Board.
- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 6.1 The Association may appoint a Negotiating Committee which shall be composed of three (3) Bargaining Unit members, at least one (1) of whom shall be a Part-Time nurse, whose duties shall be to negotiate the Collective Agreement. 6.2 The Association may appoint a Grievance Committee which shall be composed of two (2) members of the Bargaining Unit and which shall be responsible for the handling of all grievances.
- ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. C-1 The Hospital agrees to recognize the following Representatives of the Association: (a) Negotiating Committee of not more than three (3) Registered Nurses. (b) A Grievance Committee of not more than three (3) Registered Nurses. (c) Six (6) Registered Nurse Representatives in the Hospital's employ, to assist Nurses in presentation of any disagreement that might arise. Where a Nurse Representative is transferred from a department in respect of which she/he acts as Nurse Representative on behalf of the Employees in the said department, she/he will continue to act as Nurse Representative in respect of the said department until a new Nurse Representative is appointed, and the name and address of the new Nurse Representative advised to the Vice President Patient Services & Chief Nursing Executive (CNE), or until thirty (30) days from the date of transfer shall have elapsed, whichever event shall first occur.
