Automatic transfer to new card account Clause Samples

The "Automatic transfer to new card account" clause establishes that, in certain circumstances, the balance or obligations from an existing card account will be automatically moved to a newly issued card account. This typically occurs when a card is replaced due to expiration, loss, or upgrades, and ensures that any outstanding balances, rewards, or payment schedules are seamlessly continued on the new account. The core function of this clause is to maintain continuity for the cardholder and the issuer, preventing disruption in service or confusion over account balances during card transitions.
