BARGAINING AGENCY Section 1: Recognition. (a) The Company recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agency of the Employees of the Company as set out in the Certificate of Bargaining Authority. (b) When a dispute arises as to whether or not a person is an Employee within the bargaining unit, it shall be subject to grievance procedure as provided for in Article XIV, Step 3, and, in the event of failure to reach a satisfactory settlement, it shall be dealt with as provided for in Section 139 (a) of the Labour Relations Code of B.C.

(c) The term “Student Employee” applies to Employees who may be utilized for clean up on Saturdays and Sundays. Student Employees do not acquire seniority.
