Base Map Clause Samples

The Base Map clause defines the official map or drawing that serves as the foundational reference for a project or agreement. This map typically includes key features such as property boundaries, existing structures, and relevant topographical details, and is used by all parties to ensure consistency in planning, design, and construction. By establishing a single, authoritative map, the clause helps prevent disputes over site conditions and ensures that all parties are working from the same set of information.
Base Map. All of the site measure information and existing conditions are computerized and entered into a CAD program. The blank plans are then printed out and prepared for the designer.
Base Map. The CONSULTANT will produce a base map of the project area using DEPARTMENT's CADD standards. The base map will contain an aerial photo and existing characteristics for the project. The base map must show environmental issues that are specific to the Study Area such as cemeteries, wetlands, historic properties, high-risk contamination sites, public parks, and property lines. The CONSULTANT will prepare base maps for the following uses (at noted scales):  Overall Project Location Map 1: 2000  Overall Drainage Map 1: 500  Corridor Maps (Roll Plots) 1: 200 or 1:100, as appropriate
Base Map. A topographic base will be prepared for the survey areas by either using a DTM, or by digitizing/scanning the major features (large lakes, major rivers, towns, etc.) from the available topographic maps covering the area, and plotting them as background on to the geophysical maps. All title blocks and surround data appearing on the base maps will be machine drafted using CAD techniques.
Base Map. The CONSULTANT and Subconsultant shall develop electronic base maps based on existing survey data and the topographic information gathered, including existing right-of-way, and create a three- dimensional electronic surface representing existing field conditions. Work will be performed in accordance with the following tasks. • Prepare Preliminary Base Map • Prepare Design Base Map • Field Verify Base Map Products and Deliverables: • Research Information for Design File • Digital Base Map
Base Map. A. Incorporate all utility as-built information, plat map (property line) information, survey data, as-built drawings, and other available and relevant information into the development of a base map.
Base Map. GWS will produce a base map of the property to diagram the recommendations. Client to furnish GWS with topographic survey. GWS will review existing site conditions and conduct fieldwork.
Base Map. 1. Utilize base map coordinated with the West Fir Street Rehabilitation Project design effort. The base map will include all utility as-built information, topographic survey, right-of-way and other relevant information.
Base Map. This task includes preparation of a Base Map at a scale of 1 inch = 20 feet with a vertical contour interval of 1 foot. The horizontal datum will be based on the California Coordinate System of 1983, Zone 5 (CCS83) and the vertical datum will be based on North America Vertical Datum of 1988 (NGVD 88). The accuracy of all surveys will comply with the Caltrans Orders of Survey Accuracy, and drawings will comply with the Caltrans Plans Preparation Manual and the Caltrans CADD User Manual. A sealed and signed hard copy of this Base Map will also be prepared and provided to the County.
Base Map. R&E shall develop electronic base maps based on existing survey data and the topographic information gathered, including existing right-of-way and property boundaries and create a three dimensional electronic surface representing existing field conditions. Where necessary, R&E will also incorporate maps from previous projects surrounding the project based on as-built documents on file at our office. Work will be performed in accordance with the following tasks. • As-Builts o Request As-Builts from Franchise Utilities (Puget Sound Energy, Cascade Natural Gas, Ziply, Comcast, Astound) o Request Public As-Builts (City) • Prepare Preliminary Base Map • Prepare Design Base Map • Field Verify Base Map o Field Verify Base Map • Research Information for Design File • Digital Base Map
