Common use of Beginning of Work Week Clause in Contracts

Beginning of Work Week. The term work week for regularly assigned em- ployees shall mean a week beginning on the first day on which the assignment is bulletined to work, and for spare shall be a period of seven consecutive days starting with Monday. At points where it is not practicable to grant two consecutive rest days to regularly assigned or reg- ular relief employees, agreements may be made to provide for the accumulation of days off over a period not to exceed five consecutive weeks.
