Berth Operating Hours Sample Clauses

The Berth Operating Hours clause defines the specific times during which a port berth is available for vessel operations such as loading and unloading cargo. Typically, this clause outlines whether the berth operates on a 24-hour basis or has restricted hours, and may specify exceptions for weekends or holidays. By clearly stating when operations can occur, the clause helps both shipowners and port operators plan activities efficiently and avoid disputes over delays or access, ensuring smooth coordination and minimizing idle time.
Berth Operating Hours. The Berth shall be in operation for the loading of Biomass twenty-four (24) hours a Day, seven (7) Days a week, and every Day during the applicable year, except on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, and New Year’s Day (collectively, “Super Holidays”). Subject to the terms and conditions of Section 5.9, Owner may take the Berth, or any portion or part thereof, out of service during the Term in order to perform routine dredging, restoration, inspections, maintenance or repairs.
