Board-Superintendent Relationship Sample Clauses

The Board-Superintendent Relationship clause defines the roles, responsibilities, and boundaries between a school board and its superintendent. It typically outlines how the board delegates authority to the superintendent for managing daily operations, while the board retains oversight and policy-making functions. For example, the superintendent may be responsible for implementing board policies and managing staff, whereas the board focuses on setting strategic direction. This clause ensures clear lines of communication and accountability, preventing overlap or confusion in governance and administration.
