Breed Clause Samples

The 'Breed' clause defines the specific breed or breeds of an animal referenced in the agreement. It typically identifies the animal by its recognized breed name, ensuring both parties are clear about the animal's genetic background or lineage. For example, in a pet sale or breeding contract, this clause would specify whether the animal is a Labrador Retriever, Persian cat, or another breed. Its core function is to eliminate ambiguity regarding the animal's breed, which can affect value, expectations, and compliance with breed-specific regulations or standards.
