Briefing. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development shall provide a briefing to the congressional committees listed in section 1293 regarding— (1) the data and information collected pur- suant to this section; and (2) the steps taken to protect and assist victims of domestic violence, sexual vio- lence, trafficking, and child exploitation and neglect. SA 4346. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 3867 submitted by ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇ and intended to be proposed to the bill H.R. 4350, to authorize appro- priations for fiscal year 2022 for mili- tary activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Depart- ment of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle G of title X, add the following: There is authorized to be appropriated $30,000,000 for the Department of State to carry out activities to promote democracy and strengthen United States policy toward Cuba. No funds so appropriated may be obli- gated for business promotion, economic re- form, entrepreneurship, or any other assist- ance that is not democracy-building, as ex- pressly authorized in the Cuban Liberty and Solidarity (LIBERTAD) Act of 1996 (22 U.S.C. 6021 et seq.) and the Cuban Democracy Act of 1992 (22 U.S.C. 6001 et seq.).
