Bullet Resistant Vests. The Employer agrees to provide interest free loans to the employees to purchase bullet resistant vests up to a maximum, of eight hundred dollars ($800.00). The loan will be paid back in fifty dollar ($50.00) instalments on each pay cheque until the loan is paid in full. If the employee quits, is discharged or laid off, the remaining balance of the loan will be deducted from any monies in wages or vacation pay owed to the employee at that time.
Bullet Resistant Vests. The Company will purchase, maintain and distribute a bullet resistant vest for all eligible route employees. The replacement policy is as follows: a) A fitted bullet resistant vest will be replaced when expired as per the manufacturer’s expiry date the Company will supply the eligible route employee with a fitted vest. b) Eligible route employees currently in possession of a bullet resistant vest will be issued with a replacement vest, once the vest is expired. The vests will remain the property of the Company and will be returned when the eligible employee leaves the Company. Supply of the vest and carrier to the employee constitutes the mandatory use of said vest at all times while on duty for the Company. c) All employees requiring bullet resistant vests will be fitted according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Further legitimate requests for readjustment will be made within thirty (30) days or sooner. d) The vest supplied will meet the internationally defined standard for a Level II bullet resistant vest and will include a nylon exterior carrier.
Bullet Resistant Vests. At the time of the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty, the City will replace the bullet resistant vest. The City will purchase vests which will be of the level originally provided (Level IIIA in 1991).

Bullet Resistant Vests. The Employer shall reimburse full-time employees three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) for vests purchased after February 1, 2006. A list of approved vests appears in NYJ Standard 0101.03. Part-time employees will be entitled to the same benefit providing they remain in the employ of Brink=s for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. Vest must be worn at all times. The allowance for bullet resistant vests will be renewed each five (5) years of an employee=s service.
Bullet Resistant Vests. The Employer shall pay the cost of a bullet resistant garment as per Company policy and Company supplier, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Shield 2A (up to a maximum of six hundred dollars ($600.00). The employee shall be charged forty percent (40%) of the cost. Should an employee opt for an external vest, the exterior carrier must be Company approved. The employee shall be charged thirty percent (30%) of the cost. The following requirements must be met: 1. If an employee terminates prior to completing two (2) years of service the employee must reimburse the Employer. 2. The portion paid by the Employer shall be deducted from the employee’s final cheque upon termination. The employee shall make arrangements for additional repayment if the final cheque is insufficient to cover the Employer’s contribution.
Bullet Resistant Vests. ‌ A. Unit employees in the classification of Forensic Specialist, Parking Enforcement Representative, and Community Services Officers who are assigned field duties and who are required to be present at crime scenes, etc., may request that the Department provide them with a bullet resistant vest. B. New safety vests will be provided as department issued safety equipment on an as needed replacement basis per the suggested guidelines established by the manufacturer for those employees already possessing a vest. Once replaced by the City to a member, the safety vests must be worn at all times when the employee is assigned to the Field, or on another assignment where safety vests are typically worn. C. Reimbursement will not exceed $520.00.
