Common use of Calculation of Seniority Clause in Contracts

Calculation of Seniority. (a) Seniority shall be established on the basis of an employee's service with the Employer, calculated from the date upon which the employee commenced employment with the Employer. (b) Regular Employee (Part Time) Seniority shall be established on the basis of an employee's service with the Employer, calculated from the date upon which the employee commenced employment with the Employer. Seniority shall be calculated on the basis of hours scheduled, and seniority for shifts not worked shall be in accordance with Article 9.5.

(a) Regular Full Time Employee: Seniority shall be established on the basis of an employee's ’s service with the Employer, calculated from the date upon which the employee commenced employment with the Employer. (b) Regular Employee (Part Time) Seniority shall be established on the basis of an employee's service with the Employer, calculated from the date upon which the employee commenced employment with the Employer. Seniority shall be calculated on the basis of hours scheduled, and seniority for shifts not worked shall be in accordance with Article 9.5.
