Cancellation Prior to Occupancy Sample Clauses
The "Cancellation Prior to Occupancy" clause defines the terms under which a party may cancel an agreement before taking possession of a property or space. Typically, this clause outlines the notice period required for cancellation, any fees or penalties that may apply, and the process for refunding deposits or payments already made. Its core practical function is to provide both parties with clear expectations and procedures in the event that the agreement needs to be terminated before occupancy begins, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes.
