Common use of Carrier Selection Clause in Contracts

Carrier Selection. 1.5.1 For Resale Services or relevant Network Elements, each Party shall provide to the other, when ordered by the Commission, the capability to order local, intraLATA, and interLATA service by entering the other Party’s Customer’s choice of carrier on a single LSR. Each Party shall provide the other Party with the capability to order separate interLATA and intraLATA carriers on a line or trunk (with line side treatment) basis when intraLATA toll carrier presubscription is implemented. 1.5.2 Where intraLATA toll carrier presubscription is not implemented, each Party agrees to provide intraLATA toll services for resale, to resold or unbundled switch lines provided to the other Party. Where intraLATA toll carrier presubscription is implemented, each Party will route toll calls to the appropriate carrier as designated by the other Party.
