Common use of Change of Shifts Clause in Contracts

Change of Shifts. In case of an emergency where the employer changes an employee’s shift or day off (including a lieu day off) with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, the employee will be paid the overtime rate for work on that shift or day off (or lieu day off).
