Change Order Increasing the Contract Price. If VPRA approves a proposed Betterment, it will be added to the scope of the Work through a Change Order for a VPRA-Directed Change that adjusts the scope of Work and Contract Price. The amount of any Change Order issued will be a direct pass-through of the lump sum price negotiated by Design-Builder and the Utility Owner (with no additional mark-ups) or, if no such price has been negotiated, an amount determined in accordance with Exhibit K. Design-Builder may not request or accept any payment directly from the Utility Owner for any Betterment added to the Work.
