Changes of Status Sample Clauses

A Changes of Status clause defines the procedures and obligations that arise when a party's legal, financial, or operational status changes during the term of an agreement. This may include events such as mergers, acquisitions, insolvency, or changes in ownership or control. The clause typically requires the affected party to notify the other party of the change and may grant rights such as termination, renegotiation, or consent requirements. Its core function is to manage risks and maintain transparency by ensuring that significant changes affecting a party's ability to perform under the contract are promptly addressed.
