Changing Time. In positions where employees are required to wear hospital-issued attire, time spent changing will be counted as work time in accordance with applicable law. Five (5) minutes of paid time will be allotted to dress, and an additional five (5) minutes of paid time will be allotted to undress, as follows: Employees will generally be released ten (10) minutes prior to the end of their shift to compensate for changing time. Employees are expected to be dressed and ready for work at the start of their shift. When, because of the demands of the work, an employee cannot be released prior to the end of his or her shift, the employee will be paid the difference at the rate required by contract or law.
