Common use of Changing Work Schedules Clause in Contracts

Changing Work Schedules. The Chief of Police may change the work schedule to meet the needs of the Organization. In such circumstances, the Chief shall provide a minimum of five (5) days notice to the Association. Work schedules may be changed without advance notice in the case of emergencies as determined by the Police Chief. When an employee's work schedule is changed for purposes of training, special instruction, etc., the supervisor shall make a reasonable effort to accommodate the employee's interests concerning the scheduled change.
