Common use of Cleaning Allowance Clause in Contracts

Cleaning Allowance. Arrangements acceptable to the County for the cleaning of uniforms, including plain-clothes employees' clothing, shall be made and supervised by the Sheriff or his designated representative. The cost of cleaning shall not exceed eight dollars ($8.00) per week per employee. The winter overcoat shall be properly cleaned and moth controlled each year in addition to the above cleaning allowance.
