Co-ordinator. A. A Co-ordinator means a carer at a Long Day Care/Preschool who holds an AQF Certificate III in Children’s Services or a carer in an OOSH and who is appointed to co-ordinate, administer and manage a service. B. An Employee at this level is required to perform all of the following duties: • be accountable to the Employer for the administration of the service; • co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the service; • manage staff through liaison and consultation with the Employer; • oversee and ensure the implementation and maintenance of a healthy, safe and clean environment for staff and children; • ensure day-to-day administrative tasks are completed appropriately, including requirements for funding and licensing; • ensure the service adheres to all relevant regulations and licensing guidelines; • ensure all appropriate records are maintained; • liaise with and consult with parents regarding the needs of the children and the community; • liaise with management to ensure that all matters and procedures relating to Government Funding are complied with in accordance with appropriate guidelines and, where applicable, submissions for funding to relevant authorities are made and funds applied in accordance with the relevant guidelines and approvals; • assist with the preparation of budgets in consultation with the Employer, making appropriate recommendations and manage service financial responsibilities within approved levels; • attend meetings as required by the Employer consistent with position responsibilities. C. In addition an Employee may be required to perform some or all of the following duties: D. An Employee at this level is required to possess and maintain a current first aid certificate recognised under the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations as amended and administer first aid as required.
Co-ordinator. The allowance for Co-ordinator is 7% of salary on grid annually. Co-ordinator means a certified teacher who holds the necessary qualifications for the position. A Co-ordinator in accordance with the requirements under the Education Act and Regulations is responsible for co-ordination, supervision and delivery of programmes. A Co-ordinator shall serve on the basis of a renewable fixed term appointment as determined by the Board.
Co-ordinator. 6.4.1 The Co-ordinator shall be the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in the Grant Agreement and in this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.2 In particular, the Co-ordinator shall be responsible for: monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations; keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available; collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority; preparing the meetings, proposing decisions and preparing the agenda of General Assembly meetings, chairing the meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings; transmitting promptly documents and information connected with the Project to any other Party concerned; administering the financial contribution of the Funding Authority and fulfilling the financial tasks described in Section 7.3; providing, upon request, the Parties with official copies or originals of documents that are in the sole possession of the Co-ordinator when such copies or originals are necessary for the Parties to present claims. If one or more of the Parties is late in submission of any project deliverable, the Co-ordinator may nevertheless submit the other partiesproject deliverables and all other documents required by the Grant Agreement to the Funding Authority in time. 6.4.3 The Co-ordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Party or of the consortium, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the Grant Agreement or this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.4 The Co-ordinator shall not enlarge its role beyond the tasks specified in this Consortium Agreement and in the Grant Agreement.
Co-ordinator. 4.1 The co-ordinator shall, with the assistance of the PEB and in co-ordination with the PMB, administer the contract, ensure the scientific management and direction of the project and liaise between the parties and the Commission. To this effect, the co-ordinator shall discharge on behalf of the parties such duties as are defined by the contract and/or this agreement. 4.2 The co-ordinator's tasks shall be as specified in the contract including Annex 1 (Description of Work) thereto, and in particular: (a) negotiation and signature of the contract; (b) relationship and correspondence with the Commission and third parties; (c) keeping the FR's informed without delay of any event, decision or correspondence related to the project or the contract; (d) administration, preparation of minutes and follow-up of the meetings of - and of decisions taken by the PMB and the PEB and any other administrative task; (e) ensuring the continuity of the project between meetings of the PMB and between meetings of the PEB; (f) overall supervision of progress relative to the time schedules and (g) collection and submission to the Commission of project deliverables and any other project-related documents; (h) subject to approval by the PMB, appointment of the activity managers and the Technical Director. 4.3 The contractors are deemed to approve the contract terms. Following signature of the contract the co-ordinator shall not submit proposals for changes to the contract to the Commission, or accept proposals for changes to the contract from the Commission, nor perform any act which implies a financial or other commitment for any party without the previous written consent of the party(ies) concerned. 4.4 The liability of the co-ordinator for the tasks specified in this article 4 shall be deemed included in, and shall be limited to, its liability as a contractor under Annex II (General Conditions) to the contract. 4.5 The co-ordinator shall carry out its tasks through the PD. The PD shall be appointed for the duration of the project by the co-ordinator subject to prior approval of the PMB and the Commission. The PD's responsibilities shall be as described in particular in Annex 1 (Description of Work) to the contract. The PD shall be assisted by the PO, the PEB and the EAC. The Technical Director shall act as deputy of the PD.
Co-ordinator. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2008, to August 31, 2009, shall be $10,280.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2009, to August 31, 2010, shall be $10,588.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2010, to August 31, 2011, shall be $10,906.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2011, to August 31, 2012, shall be $11,233.00. New appointments shall be on a term basis for not less than one (1) and for up to three (3) years, with Board option to extend on a yearly basis.

Effective September 1, 2005, new appointments shall be on a term basis for not less than one (1) and for up to three (3) years, with Board option to extend on a yearly basis.

In particular, the Co-ordinator shall be responsible for: i. Submitting reports and other deliverables to the Commission; ii. The administration of the Project Management Committee and the provision of the chairman of the Project Management Committee, and follow-up of its decisions; iii. The transmission of any documents and information connected with the Project to and between the Contractors concerned; iv. Leading the implementation of decisions by the Project Management Committee. v. Name one of its senior scientists an Intellectual Property Coordinator (“IPR Coordinator”) who shall be responsible for the coordination of the publication procedure and the coordination of the protection of intellectual property, following Article 6. The IPR Coordinator shall attend the meetings of the Project Management Committee but shall have no vote. The Co-ordinator shall neither be entitled to act nor to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Contractor nor to enlarge its role beyond the one described herein and in the Contract.

In particular, the Co-ordinator shall be responsible for: Submitting reports and other deliverables to the Commission; The administration, preparation of minutes and provision of the chairman of the PB, and follow-up of its decisions; The transmission of any documents and information connected with the Project to and between the Parties concerned; Withholding advance payments and transferring sums allocated among the Parties as per the budget agreed in the Project Board and keep related records identifying what portion of the payments made by the Commission has been allocated and/or paid to each Party; For the purpose of Article 6.3, reviewing deliverables at each agreed step under the Project Plan concerned and advise the Parties of any delay in delivery that could not be remedied or any major discrepancy. The Co-ordinator shall neither be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Party nor to enlarge its role beyond the one described herein and in the Contract. In case of absence or default of the coordinator its tasks will be carried out by the deputy nominated by the Project Board
Co-ordinator is the intermediary to the European Commission is authorised to execute the project management, shall report and be accountable to the Project Co-ordination Committee (which shall in turn report and be accountable to the General Assembly) under the conditions set forth in Section 5.4.
