College Preparation. All candidates shall have completed a state approved 31 college/university preparation program in the professional field for which 32 certification is to be issued. Candidates shall hold appropriate degrees, licenses, 33 and additional course work as prescribed by state and federal requirements. Out- 34 of-state candidates will be required to submit all required documentation to the 35 Office of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to obtain valid 36 Washington State certification as appropriate for assignments and levels they wish 37 to instruct.
