Commissioning; Commencement of Operations Sample Clauses

The 'Commissioning; Commencement of Operations' clause defines the process and criteria for transitioning a project or facility from construction to operational status. It typically outlines the steps required to test, inspect, and verify that all systems and components are functioning as intended before formal operations begin. For example, it may specify performance benchmarks, documentation requirements, and the roles of various parties in the commissioning process. This clause ensures that the project meets agreed standards before being put into use, thereby reducing the risk of operational issues and disputes over readiness.
