Compensation for Additional Work. When an employee is assigned by his/her supervisor to complete the work of another employee on a temporary basis (i.e., filling in for the work of an open position or filling in for an employee on a leave of absence), after a period of more than ten (10) work days, the employee will begin to receive two times his/her regular hourly rate, for a designated number of hours determined by his/her supervisor. Those hours must be worked within their eight (8) hour day.
