The 'Connectivity to the grid' clause defines the requirements and responsibilities for establishing and maintaining a connection between a facility or project and the electrical grid. Typically, this clause outlines the technical standards, timelines, and approvals necessary for grid connection, and may specify which party is responsible for obtaining permits, coordinating with utility providers, and covering associated costs. Its core practical function is to ensure that the project can reliably deliver or receive electricity as intended, while clearly allocating duties and mitigating risks related to grid access and compliance.
Connectivity to the grid. The Solar Power Developer shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Power Project to the nearest designated Delivery Point.
Connectivity to the grid. The Developer shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Power Project to the nearest Delivery Point.
Connectivity to the grid i. The Solar Power Developer (SPD) shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Power Project to the nearest designated Delivery Point. The SPD shall construct, operate and maintain the Project during the term of PPA at his cost and risk including the required Interconnection Facilities and in close co- ordination with CTU/STU/DISCOM’s feasibility.
ii. The SPD shall seek approval of STU in respect of interconnection facilities
iii. The SPD shall undertake at its own cost construction/ upgradation of (a) the Interconnection Facilities, (b) the Transmission Lines and as per the specifications and requirements of STU.
iv. The SPD shall undertake at its own cost maintenance of the Interconnection Facilities, excluding the transmission line beyond the Sending Station as per the specifications and requirements of STU, as notified to the SPD, in accordance with Prudent Utility Practices.
v. The SPD shall operate and maintain the Project in accordance with Prudent Utility Practices
vi. For evacuation facility and maintenance of the transmission, the SPD shall enter into separate agreement with STU/DISCOM, if applicable
Connectivity to the grid. The Solar Power Developer shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Power Project to the nearest designated Delivery Point/ Delivery points in Pavagada Solar Park, as per the provisions mentioned under ISA.
Connectivity to the grid. The Developer shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Pumped Hydro Storage based Energy Storage System (PHESS) to the designated nearest Interconnection Point/ Delivery Point/s as per the inter connection approval given by the STU (Maharashtra)/CTU.
Connectivity to the grid. (a) The consumer and the STU/Distribution Licensee shall comply with the provisions contained in Central Electricity Authority (Technical Standards for Interconnecting to the Grid) Regulations, 2007 which includes the following namely. –
(i) Connection Agreement;
(ii) Site responsibility schedule;
(iii) Access at Connection site;
(iv) Site Common Drawings;
(v) Safety;
(vi) Protection System and Co-ordination; and
(vii) Inspection, Test, Calibration and Maintenance prior to Connection.
(b) The consumer agrees to comply with the safety measures contained in section 53 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Act 36 of 2003);
(c) Both the parties shall comply with the provisions contained in the Indian Electricity Grid Code, Tamil Nadu Electricity Grid Code, the Electricity Act, 2003, other Codes and Regulations issued by the Commission / Central Electricity Authority and amendments issued thereon, from time to time; and
(d) Both the parties shall comply with the guidelines issued by the Government of India / Government of Tamil Nadu, from time to time.
Connectivity to the grid. The SPG shall be responsible for power evacuation from the Power Project to the nearest Delivery Point(s) of SS.
Connectivity to the grid. The PHSP Developer shall be responsible for power evacuation from the PHSP Project to the nearest designated Delivery Point/ Delivery points as per the inter connection approval given by the STU.
Connectivity to the grid a) The open access customer/ generator and the Transmission/Distribution Licensee shall comply with the provisions contained in Central Electricity Authority (Technical Standards for Interconnecting to the Grid) Regulations, 2007 which includes the following namely;
(i) Connection Agreement;
(ii) Site responsibility schedule;
(iii) Access at Connection site;
(iv) Site Common Drawings;
(v) Safety;
(vi) Protection System and Co-ordination; and
(vii) Inspection, Test, Calibration and Maintenance prior to Connection.
Connectivity to the grid. The Developer shall be responsible for evacuation of any surplus power from the Rooftop Solar PV Power plant to the grid.
