Consecutive Weekend Work. All full-time and part-time nurses will be required to work their share of weekends. Weekend work will be scheduled on an equitable basis among all nurses. Full-time and part-time nurses shall not be required to work, any part, more than two (2) out of four (4)
Consecutive Weekend Work. The Health Sciences Centre will endeavour to provide at least one weekend off in three (four for part-time employees). If a employee is required to work a third (fourth for part-time employees) consecutive weekend, the employee will be paid at the overtime rate for all hours worked on a third (fourth for part-time employees) consecutive weekend and any subsequent weekend until a weekend is scheduled off. Any weekend worked under the following conditions shall not be considered in the determination of consecutive weekends: Any weekend that has been worked by an employee to satisfy specific days off requested by such employee; Any weekend that is worked as a result of an exchange of shifts with another employee. The weekend following any of these conditions shall be considered as a first weekend worked. Note: This provision does not apply to casual employees and is not to be incorporated into any extended tour agreements.
Consecutive Weekend Work. All full-time and part-time nurses shall be required to equitably work their share of weekends. The Employer will continue its good faith effort to schedule such nurses every other weekend off. In the event such a nurse is requested by the Employer to work two (2) consecutive weekends, all hours worked on the second weekend shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the nurse's regular rate of pay. The consecutive weekend provisions of this Section shall only be applied if on the first weekend involved a nurse worked on both days of that first weekend. The third consecutive weekend shall revert to the nurse's regular rate. This provision shall not apply to such nurses who request additional weekend work, trade shifts or request to work every weekend.

  • Weekend Work (1) All ordinary hours of work performed between midnight on Friday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half.
