Contents and structure. 7.1 Practical vocational training is part of any vocational training as set out in the WEB. The practical vocational training takes place on the basis of a practical training agreement at a training company recognised by the SBB. The practical training agreement sets out the arrangements agreed regarding the practical vocational training, allowing the student to gain the knowledge and experience necessary for the qualification/electives. The activities performed by the student in the context of the practical training agreement have an educational goal. 7.2 The basis for practical vocational training are the educational and training goals as described in the course guide. The practical vocational training takes place in accordance with a substantive practical vocational training plan which is included in the course guide or which is referred to in the course guide. It must be clear to the training company which part of the qualification the student is to attain during his/her PVT. Taking electives and completing these with an exam is a mandatory element of the course. At the start of or during the course, the student selects electives. This is recorded in the education agreement. The student may choose an elective to be completed through the practical vocation training. In such a case, this will be recorded on the PVT sheet which is an inseparable part of this practical training agreement. Contents and structure. 1. The practical training of the student comes under the education and training objectives (ETO) of the training course and thus under the responsibility of Nova College. 2. The ETO of the training course is the basis of the practical training and is laid down in the associated Education and Examination Regulations (EES). The EES forms part of the EGL and may be consulted on Nova Portal. 3. The EES/EGL or the PT Manual describe what is done during the practical training. 4. The WEB and more specifically the EES/EGL describe how many hours of practical training the student should perform. Students who follow a day- release training course, must attend at least 610 hours of professional practical training per academic year. This is laid down for vocational training in the ETO.

The activities conducted by the student in the context of the practical training contract have a learning function. 4.2 The starting point of the practical training is the educational and vocational objectives applicable to the course as described in the study manual and the education and exam regulations included therein. The basis of the practical training is a substantive plan for the practical training, which is recorded in the study manual and the education and exam regulations included therein. It should be clear to the work placement company which part of the qualification the students have to achieve during their practical training. Contents and structure. 4.1 Practical training (BPV) is an integral part of every vocational education program as defined in the Vocational Education and Training Act. The practical training takes place at an SBB-certified training company based on a practical agreement. If an ambiguity or question of intent or interpretation arises, this Agreement shall be construed as if drafted jointly by the parties hereto, and no presumption or burden of proof shall arise favoring or disfavoring any party by virtue of the authorship of any of the provisions of this Agreement. All references to laws, rules, regulations and forms in this Agreement shall be deemed to be references to such laws, rules, regulations and forms, as amended from time to time or, to the extent replaced, the comparable successor thereto in effect at the time. All references to agencies, self-regulatory organizations or governmental entities in this Agreement shall be deemed to be references to the comparable successors thereto from time to time.

  • Titles to Properties The Borrower has such title to the real property owned by it as is necessary to the conduct of its business and valid and legal title to all of its material personal property and assets, including, but not limited to, those reflected on the balance sheets of the Borrower delivered pursuant to Section 5.1(l), except those which have been disposed of by the Borrower subsequent to such date, which dispositions have been in the ordinary course of business or as otherwise of a type permitted hereunder.

  • Organizational Structure The ISO will be governed by a ten (10) person unaffiliated Board of Directors, as per Article 5 herein. The day-to-day operation of the ISO will be managed by a President, who will serve as an ex-officio member of the ISO Board, in accordance with Article 5 herein. There shall be a Management Committee as per Article 7 herein, which shall report to the ISO Board, and shall be comprised of all Parties to the Agreement. There shall be at least two additional standing committees, the Operating Committee, as provided for in Article 8, and the Business Issues Committee, as provided for in Article 9, both of which shall report to the Management Committee. A Dispute Resolution Process will be established and administered by the ISO Board in accordance with Article 10.
