Contractor Change Proposal Clause Samples

A Contractor Change Proposal clause outlines the process by which a contractor can formally propose modifications to the original contract terms, such as changes in scope, schedule, or pricing. Typically, this clause requires the contractor to submit a detailed written proposal describing the requested change, its impact on cost and timeline, and any supporting documentation. The clause ensures that all proposed changes are reviewed and approved by the relevant parties before implementation, thereby maintaining control over project modifications and preventing unauthorized or unclear alterations.
