Contractor’s Notice of Readiness for Interim Inspection for Punchlist Completion Clause Samples

The Contractor’s Notice of Readiness for Interim Inspection for Punchlist Completion is a clause that requires the contractor to formally notify the client or project manager when the work has reached a stage suitable for an interim inspection focused on identifying outstanding items, commonly known as the punchlist. In practice, this means the contractor must assess the project, ensure that the majority of work is complete, and then submit a notice indicating readiness for a walkthrough or inspection to document any remaining tasks or deficiencies. This clause ensures a structured process for addressing incomplete or deficient work before final acceptance, promoting transparency and timely resolution of outstanding issues.
