The Cost Saving Measures clause establishes procedures or requirements aimed at reducing expenses during the execution of a contract. Typically, it obligates one or both parties to identify, propose, or implement methods that lower costs without compromising quality or contractual obligations. For example, it may require regular reviews of processes to find efficiencies or mandate the use of alternative materials if they result in savings. Cost Saving Measures. The parties agree to explore various options in addition to layoffs to reduce bargaining unit personnel costs in order to meet revenue shortfalls during the term of this Agreement.

UNION shall support LGU Naga’s programs and activities on cost-saving. Section 5. The UNION officers shall encourage members to be dedicated public servants and support the AGENCY’s objective of increased revenue collection by reporting to the appropriate office/department business establishments that does not have the necessary and required license or permit to operate. By so doing, the employees could help in the improved revenue collection. Section 6. Union members are encouraged to device and enforce as well as adhere to and support the AGENCY’s other cost saving measures that will generate funds and/or savings for the general good and welfare of one and all.
Cost Saving Measures. It was agreed that each academic department in the Nigerian Universities shall be provided with the minimum set of equipment to enable it to execute its mandate. The collective use of highly specialized equipment of exceedingly high cost through establishment of central laboratories among departments should be encouraged. However, this cannot be a substitute for specialized laboratories in departments. Each University shall arrange its own cost-saving measures.
Cost Saving Measures. EPL shall: (a) inform BEPET in writing of any potential Cost Saving Measures as soon as reasonably practicable after becoming aware of such Cost Saving Measures; (b) acting as a Reasonable and Prudent Operator, take all steps necessary to implement such Cost Saving Measures, provided that no such steps may be taken without the prior written consent of BEPET; and (c) promptly provide BEPET with a forecast of the extent of such Cost Saving Measures in that Operating Year in order that BEPET may properly consider whether a revision to the then prevailing Annual Operating Plan in accordance with Clause 5.4(a) is necessary or desirable.

  • Interim Measures 6.1 The Parties acknowledge that the British Columbia Claims Task Force made the following recommendation concerning Interim Measures:

  • Cost Savings Developer shall work cooperatively with Architect, Construction Manager, subcontractors and District, in good faith, to identify appropriate opportunities to reduce the Project costs and promote cost savings. Any identified cost savings from the Guaranteed Maximum Price shall be identified by Developer, and approved in writing by the District. In the event Developer realizes a savings on any aspect of the Project, such savings shall be added to the Contingency and expended consistent with the Contingency. In addition, any portion of Allowance remaining after completion of the Project shall be added to the Contingency. If any cost savings require revisions to the Construction Documents, Developer shall work with the District and Architect with respect to revising the Construction Documents and, if necessary, obtaining the approval of DSA with respect to those revisions. Developer shall be entitled to an adjustment of Contract Time for delay in completion caused by any cost savings adopted by District pursuant to Exhibit D, if requested in writing before the approval of the cost savings.

  • Corrective Measures If the Participating Generator fails to meet or maintain the requirements set forth in this Agreement and/or the CAISO Tariff, the CAISO shall be permitted to take any of the measures, contained or referenced in the CAISO Tariff, which the CAISO deems to be necessary to correct the situation.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Performance Measures The System Agency will monitor the Grantee’s performance of the requirements in Attachment A and compliance with the Contract’s terms and conditions.
