Common use of COVID-19 Testing Clause in Contracts

COVID-19 Testing. a. The employer will continue to provide symptomatic and surveillance COVID-19 testing during Academic Year 2021-2022. b. Employees and students who have tested positive for COVID-19 shall not return to face- to-face classroom instruction until receiving authorization and guidance from a health provider or a Public Health Department. c. The employer shall provide daily updates of positive COVID-19 cases within the student, faculty, and staff via the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard while classes are normally in session Monday through Friday excluding holidays and administrative closure days. d. The Employer shall, on or before September 7, 2021 provide the union the number of students registered for in-person classes and the percentage of those students who have been vaccinated. e. Wastewater testing will continue in collaboration with the Kishwaukee Water Reclamation District and will provide a longitudinal, broad surveillance of trends and potential spikes in SARS-CoV-2 incidence on campus and the city of DeKalb. f. Bargaining unit members included in surveillance testing protocols are required to comply with testing requirements.
