The Student Testing clause establishes the requirements and procedures for assessing students' knowledge, skills, or progress within an educational program. It typically outlines the types of tests or assessments to be administered, the frequency or timing of these evaluations, and the standards or criteria for performance. Student Testing. Contractor shall, at no additional cost to the District and at the District’s request, coordinate its Work to not disturb District students when students at the School Site(s) are taking State-required tests. No extensions to the Contract Time shall be accommodated as a result of State- required tests, and Contractor shall account for State-required testing when preparing the Construction Schedule(s).

Any Instructional Employee assigned to monitor or ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ a level of the state mandated test or off- grade test will be given a written explanation of the rules governing the administration of the test and the possible consequences, including loss of employment, that may result from non-compliance.
Student Testing. The week in-person learning resumes, CPS will conduct a surveillance testing program of students in (a) schools within the ten Chicago zip codes with the highest numbers of daily average COVID-19 cases, according to the CDPH COVID-19 Dashboard, and (b) high school cluster programs. The program will test 25% of eligible students each week, provided all required parental/guardian consent has been obtained. The high-prevalence zip codes will be updated at least monthly to account for changes in daily average COVID-19 cases over time.

Elementary schools will be provided substitute teachers funding to assist Kindergarten teachers with responsibilities for administering baseline assessments during the initial fall assessments. The classroom teachers and the school administration will determine collaboratively how the assessment and instructional responsibilities are shared.
Student Testing. Students enrolled at YES Prep XMS and XHS shall participate in all statewide student testing as required by Applicable Law. XISD and YES Prep XMS and XHS will collaborate on the timing, manner, and location for testing of YES Prep XMS and XHS students. All test data for students enrolled in YES Prep XMS and XHS shall be aggregated with the data for all other XMS and XHS students for purposes of campus accountability ratings.
